Viognier 2018 MoVi18
Even if Viognier is now known everywhere, it almost disappeared in the 70's. It got saved in France, in the nothern Rhône Valley (Condrieu) considered as the reference now. I can tell this one is a great challenger! Limited cuvée usually only available in the swiss finest restaurants. You're welcome ;).
Aging: Oak barrel
Drink before: 2028
Fruity (peach, apricot) with some oaky notes this wine is definitely not for the "apéro". It should be great with poulty, fish, white meat because it's super rich, complex and with a loooooong finish. But I say "should" cause I had it by itself. This wine will leave a mark. For sure! Try out also with cheeses.
Must be served between: 9-11°C.
